On Wednesday the 2nd of September 2020. The first day of shooting commenced.
I was filled with nerves and excitement. This is something that I have never done before.
Scene 2. The Bar Scene
This was the first scene we shot as it was the only scene required to have a set. I decided to film in room 222 in SIT downtown campus because it had a old fashioned wall and a window with curtains.
My crew moved some chairs and tables from the common room into the class room so we could make the corner seem more bar like.
This shot required:
A Glass Pint
Ginger Beer
A Tablecloth
A Picture of Elise
A note with a Hastily Scribbled Threat
Coasters
Me and Oisin were needed for this scene.
Fun Fact. Before the film started Oisins mum gave me Northern Irish accent lessons on the phone. She also Proceeded to give me lessons in Northern Irish history. Oisin was a little embarrassed. Or having a giggle.
When we started filming the takes with Oisin went well. He is definitely a good Irish actor.
Me on the other had was thinking about directing stuff. So when it was my turn to do acting I completely blundered the lines. Whoopsie.
James and Luqman came in at the beginning and helped set up lighting which was very helpful.
We had Lighting placed outside the window.

Scene 3. The Graveyard
After we finished The Bar Scenes we went straight into the Green Screen Room and Started to file our first composite shots. This was Scene 3, the Graveyard. This would be the easiest scene compared to Scene 4. The shot only consisted of 5 angles.
This photo is from a scene where O'leary is talking to his dead wife's Grave.
Originally I had planned to start filming Shot 4 on this day but by the time we finished with scene we were all exhausted.
This day also marked the last time we filmed without a weather filter on as after this day of shooting Zara took the camera and filmed her own project resulting in her forgetting to change the camera modes back. Luckily this filter did not alter any of the footage.
