Introduction to 3D

Today was a day of learning the basics of the course. Learning the Outline and assessment that I will be going through throughout the whole year.

We reviewed dome previous years work to get an idea of what we can do.

So before the course started, I had already thought of an idea I want to work with. Its now just a matter of shortening the story to the appropriate 1 minute mark.

Here are some notes for Maya:
In Maya, when making a new project ALWAYS set project by going to file and opening the project window and saving your project to you D Drive.
Hold alt to activate camera movements with mouse
Hold space-bar o to open a variety of menus.     

Make sure the colour correction is correct


We also learn about light and how it works. Lighting is something very important, which can make or break an art piece. so i'll need to do some research on that.

Mostly for this lesson I was testing out the key bindings and playing around with a cuboid shape.
