For Inspiration for my second image I had gone back to an image that I had created 2 years ago (shown below) This was at a time where my digital skills were a little under developed. For this project I didn't want to recreate the whole thing because that would be cheating. So the piece that I have done now is a progression from this one. The inspirational image also shows a ship (The Red Falcon) which I will also be using as an inspiration for my chess piece an another digital artwork. Using the same technique I had used in the previous image I drew the escape pod and built around it. Foe what I ended up drawing, I'm actually pretty happy with what I got. I'm extremely happy with the look of the escape pod, now broken and how the lighting looks. I was playing around with some photo filters and i ended up with this warm glow. I also duplicated the image, made a Gaussian blur and made it translucent to get the really warm look.
