1st Draft |
This is the Evolution of my poster as of the 1st draft. As you can see here, there has been a huge development.
The first most notable change is the font. At first I wasn't happy with all the normal fonts, as they looked all a bit basic, so I tried to make it interesting by using my own handwriting. I then decided against it because my hand writing isn't that neat.
Then it was realized that my next style had to many fonts, and it was all over the place. So I completely flipped the image (2nd most notable change), to make it fit. It was also suggested to me by a fellow student to change the colour of the text, which has made the image pop. (in my opinion).
The third most notable change is the background. Originally I wanted to leave it blank, but it looked empty, especially with the new font. So I drew up some shapes that looked like people, seats, trees and buildings. I Gaussian blurred the images and played around with the lighting and transparency. It also makes the image pop, or in this case makes the poster have more in it.
As of this moment I just need to add the target audience, I'm hoping that the work Kenku would spark the Dungeon and Dragon fans out there. but I might have to make it more obvious.
