The Second film that I watched from the top 100 list, was the 'One flew over the Cuckoo's nest'
a film by Milos Forman, from a story by Ken Kesey, Starring Jack Nicholson as Randle Partick Mcmurphy and Louise Fletcher as Nurse Ratched. Cuckoo's Nest is a film about Randle, who is sent to a mental hospital to be assessed for mental illnesses. However he is really just trying to avoid work. he is sent to a ward and he interacts with all the patients. But very quickly he wants to leave. This is the main plot of the film. But along the way he gets to know the patients more and more and tries to challenge nurse Ratchet, who rules the ward with an Iron fist. He tries to start a gambling ring, Escapes the ward to take the patients in the ward fishing, tries to get the patients to watch the yearly ball game. Pushing the limits of the ward and unintentionally trying to influence the patients to leave The ending of the film (spoiler alert) is actually very depressing.
