My Top 10 Favorite Films (In no particular order)

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) Peter Jackson
The Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring is one of my favorite films, especially my favorite start to a trilogy. There are so many things to this film (And with the other three) that really just stand out to me. If I had to narrow it down to one thing, It would be the character development of Boromir. (This especially shows in the extended editions.)

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) Peter Jackson
The Two Towers is also on this list as it my number one favorite Lord of the Rings Movies, It introduces one of my favorite fantasy Cities, (Edoras of Rohan), Has the best music score, Including my personal favorite 'The Rohan Fanfare', and it has one of the best battle scenes of all time, The Battle For Helms Deep. I just love this movie to bits.

Lord of the Rings: The Return Of The King (2003) Peter Jackson
I couldn't help putting the The Return of the King here, it's also a great movie, and a solid finale to a trilogy. Peter Jackson really put a huge amount of effort into these movies, and all of the actors and cast members. Every character played their parts like they were meant to be the characters straight from the novels of J.R.R Tolkien. And the soundtrack is just beautiful to listen to. Even the props and CGI are great for their time, Everything looks real and dirty. I could go on for ages about this trilogy cause it is truly a master piece. Absolutely Amazing.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) Gareth Edwards
Now I recently heard that this movie wasn't received very well by the critics or the fans. But I really enjoyed this movie. This was one of the few movies that i attended a premiere for and it was totally worth it. The CGI in this movie was great, and I believe they did a good job recreating Grand Moff Tarkin from the original movies. The Movie was filled with nostalgia and filled in a plot hole in the original movies, and I believe it rounded off quite nicely and The Darth Vader Scene at the end of the movie made me cry with joy, so bonus points for that.

Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) George Lucas
One of the best films ever, This was one of the earliest Sci-fi movies that I've ever watched, and still to this day remains a great movie. The Soundtrack and the effect are top notch for their time. And the trench run is one of my favorite scenes of all time. Every time I watch it, I get goosebumps.

Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith (2005) George Lucas
Star Wars Episode 3 was the best movie in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, hands down. This movie especially since the internet turned it into one giant meme, has been one of the most enjoyable star wars movies to watch, its got humor, Ewan Mcgregor, good quotes, Tragedy, and The best light-saber battle in all the Star wars Movies. So if you want to get people to start watching star wars, Id say show them this movie.

District 9 (2009) Neill Blomkamp
This movie was a big surprise to me when i watched it, because at the time I was being shown this film in an English class to study. This Movie was an interesting take on apartheid and racism. And the story was well written, it really made you think, which I like in movies.

Saving Private Ryan (1998) Steven Spielberg
This World War 2 epic is what really made me take an interest in the history of WW2, in fact it made me enjoy video games such as all the old Medal of Honor Games and Call of Duty World at War. This is definitely one of the movies that I need to see again.

Alien (1979) Ridley Scott
The Only Horror movie on this list, but this was the movie that made space TRULY scary. The darkness, the ambiance, even the trailer for this movie is really well created. This was one of the movies that proved that you didn't have to show the antagonist in its full glory to make you jump in your chair.

Clue (1985) Jonathan Lynn
Last but not least, I have placed this classic on the list. This board game inspired movie is one of the few board game inspired movies to to justice to board games. It's a great comedy, it make you guess who did it, and with three multiple endings, It may just surprise you. I adored this movie as a kid, and I believe it is worthy to remain in my favorites list.
